Five Peaks Place

Cabin #2

Cabin #2 is situated on 80-acres. It  was completed in 2020. It has no running water, limited solar power for lighting and refrigeration. It has a propane and wood burning stove. It is accessible by car via primitive roads. The cabins are approximately 10 min apart by car.

The 80 acre-property includes a steep canyon with a gradient slope to a mid shelf plateau filled with white oaks and ponderosa pines. From below the mid shelf runs a fresh water spring (5 gal/min) that flows down to a crevice to the bottom of the property which is 300 ft below.

Sunsets

The open sky performs like an artist that sprays color onto a canvas. The mirage of light and color moves with brightness and glow and lowers itself behind the majestic peaks.

Panoramic View

The 360-degree view from the top acreage high prairie is all-inclusive. Mt. Adams stands tall as if it were in the front yard. The canyon adds beauty to the land and invites a hike down a gradient slope to its place that offers rest—the 20-acre park-like natural shelf where you can leisurely take a stroll or hike further down to the bottom of the canyon.

Wildlife

Deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, eagles, bears, ducks, rabbits, hawks, Canadian geese, rattlesnakes, cougars, pheasants, and woodpeckers all have been sighted on the property.

Wildflowers

The aroma of the pungent desert parsley cannot be overlooked in early spring. Blossoms of yellow, purple, and white dot the hillsides until the summer heat brings in the golden glow of the grasslands.
